In Superhot: Mind Control Delete, time moves only when you move. That’s the core rule upon which the standalone expansion to 2016’s first-person shooter sprinkles rogue-lite elements. Each level unceremoniously drops you into immaculate white levels where you must shoot, punch, slash or puncture enough red, glassy opponents while making sure you stick to at least one of your lives. Completing these intense encounters wins you a moment of respite in the game’s overworld.
Superhot hotswitch into core Pc#
Resembling a retro PC interface, its strings of white lines create paths connecting different types of nodes that house new runs, abilities, more dangerous opponents, endless modes, and cryptic chunks of text that build the narrative. The abilities you unlock are split into two types: core powers and hacks. Superhot: Mind Control Delete features four core powers, one of which can be chosen at the start of each run and ends up defining your playstyle to a certain degree. One lets you begin runs with three lives instead of just two, while another makes it possible to call your thrown katana back to your hand, as if by using the Force. The remaining two give you the option of swapping bodies with enemies or charging them from afar, guaranteeing an instant kill and unhindered movement through bullets that might otherwise hurt you. Based on the Dog memories that can be found throughout the game Dog appears to be a mentally challenged person forced to grind superhot. The more you play, the more you turn certain behaviors into habits. It is one of three enemies meant to represent Cores usable by the player. The Dog has other names, such as Anxiety (emotional representation) and Charge (ability representation). It is more of a sign that you need to hurry up than it is a threat. Superhot is an independent first-person shooter (FPS) video game developed and published by Superhot Team. With only close range attacks, it is easy to avoid Step out of the way of its Charge and keep it in front of you, backing away while working to finish the level. The Dog cannot be killed, so it must be avoided at all costs. It turns its head towards the player and stares, until the player is shot backwards into darkness, ending the stage. Interacting with the dog bowl will break it, making the room gradually vanish to reveal the Dog. A pedestal sits in front of them with a dog bowl floating on top. Once the player reaches the entryway, they step into an area similar to the Prison, marked by cages that change sizes around a red humanoid object.

The player walks down a path towards a large block as the words "BOUND BY ANXIETY" appear one by one on the screen. The Dog can first be seen in the stage ENCRYPTED / DOG. Generally speaking, you won’t be able to scrape by using the same tactics from previous Superhot games. The Dog repeats this aggressive behavior until it kills you or the level is completed. From its new location, it will try to charge you again. You'll be removed from the core and two Red Dudes will be at your side, one with a pistol, the other with a shotgun. This teleport works through walls and objects. As the level begins, move forwards and Hotswitch into the core. If it misses or cannot reach you, it will crouch and, after a moment, teleport behind you or close to you. It spawns empty-handed and tries to attack you at close range. Afterwards, you can find the Dog somewhere throughout the level as he approaches you. The Dog's arrival is signaled by a loud noise. It has an elongated face like a snout and tall, pointy ears.

The Dog resembles a Standard Enemy with the exception of a canine head.
